Humous
Aaaaahhh.... Whoever invented this truly wonderful condiment deserves a praise. Not just that it's good for you, its also very yummy/scrummy etc etc. And very versatile too... Comes in many different flavours without suffering identity crisis along the way. Always staying true to itself. Gets along great with carrots, celery, spring onions, peppers... and of course it has eternal, everlasting passionate love affair with fresh...crusty bread...mmmm getting hungry just thinking about it. It's what I call Innocent and character nourishing food - you can eat as much as you like while feeling good about yourself, without the usual guilt trip. This is a rare quality, especially in this world so overloaded with preservatives, E No's, saturated fats etc etc... not that any of these ever stopped me from grazing like a Happy/hungry/chok+fat deprived animal...
