Marshall's back in town

I am not your typical Eminem fan nor is hip hop/rap my cup of coffee, but there's just something about the man and his words. When he first came on the world scene I was in my very early 20's and listened to him to begin with just because it was hip and in at the time, fast forward few months and I was hooked. Not sure why I related to him and why it resonated - am from Europe, nearly 10 yrs younger and a female always on straight and narrow yet somehow he touched me on many different levels. He made me want to dance, cry and at times vomit. But he sure hasn't left me indifferent. Years passed by and I was still a faithful devotee, but as my 20's grew fatter, I got all caught up in making life decisions and joining the rat race, and he grew silent... Got caught up in the machine himself I suppose... All of the sudden he was back after many a year but something was missing, and that something was almost everything that made me like the guy in the first place! As third decade of my life started drawing to a close - some fresh new words came, like a cool spring water. And they touched me. And they moved me. And they echoed. Felt like I could hug him! Welcome back & please stay for a very, very long time x
